Guest Services - Splash Lagoon Erie, PA 1 DAYS AGO 22580718 Summary Erie, PA In-Person Competitive Salary 0 Months Experience No formal schooling No Commission 20.00 hours per week / Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Rotation Shift / Part-Time / Hours May Vary Description SUMMARY The Guest Services Attendant provides information and admissions to guests visiting Splash Lagoon. This role is essential in multiple areas of the water park operations, and the Attendant is a front-runner employee when it comes to delivering exceptional guest service.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The following tasks are essential to the role and may include, but are not limited to: 1. Sell passes and collect fees from customers. 2. Provide information about the park's facilities, entertainment options, and rules and regulations. 3. Record details of repair activities and ride shutdown information. 4. Handle guest satisfaction surveys and address complaints. 5. Announce or describe amusement park attractions to entice guests to participate in activities and games. 6. Distribute and ensure proper sizing of life jackets for patrons. 7. Provide excellent customer service in person and over the phone.
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The following knowledge, skills, and abilities are required: 1. Ability to operate equipment safely and properly. 2. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. 3. Strong communication skills with the public, guests, and team members. 4. Emotional stability and sound judgment, especially in adverse situations, following facility policies. 5. Firm, fair, consistent, and courteous in order to gain respect and cooperation from the public and employees. 6. Positive attitude and ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment. 7. Proficient verbal communication skills. 8. Ability to use and maintain supplied equipment. 9. Independent judgment in determining work methods and procedures.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES 1.
Maintain a safe and pleasant environment for pool patrons. 2. Assist in maintaining high levels of customer service (Aloha Spirit). 3. Perform other tasks or related duties as assigned by facility management when necessary. 4. Wear approved uniforms and any necessary job-related safety equipment during shifts. 5. Be subject to both pre-employment and random drug/alcohol screening during employment.
