Job Description

GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB
Skate Rink:
This job will require interacting with guests, skate rentals, maintaining and sharpening skates, maintaining skate rink, overseeing the general operation of the skate rink.Social Amenities Attendant:
Greet and interact with all guests at the Resort. Maintain, inspect and facilitate any and all amenities assigned for a given day. Activities include but are not limited to: Indoor/Outdoor Amenities (eg. Go Carts, Bumper Cars, Climbing Wall, etc.)ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIIES
include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Sharpening/ Maintaining Skates Cleaning/ Maintaining the Ice Rink Interacting with Guests Issuing Skates to Guests Explaining and operating all indoor and outdoor amenities Enforcing all safety rules applicable to the specific amenity/activity Responsible for the happiness and welfare of the guests while they are on the Resort property Participate in keeping all areas of the facility neat, clean, and safe at all times. Be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays.QUALIFICATIONS

Must be able to work well in a team environment. Must be able to take direction from the Skate Shop Manager and complete all tasks as assigned. Must have the ability to recognize problems as they arise and bring them to the attention of the Manager. Must be able to assume a positive and active role at the rink, even while working under potentially stressful conditions (weather, upset or injured participants, etc.). An ability to interact and communicate well with others is essential. Ability to understand and carry out verbal and/or written instructions efficiently and effectively. Be able to follow safety guidelines and exercise good judgment in all aspects of responsibility. Must be physically strong enough to lift and move heavy objects, such as hockey nets. EDUCATION and/orEXPERIENCE
Must be 16 years of age / Some High School or GED equivalentMATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to apply basic mathematical concepts such as addition, subtraction and multiplication.CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
