AM Compensation:

$75 Per Day based on experience The Xchange Bar and Lounge is hiring a reliable, and professional Doorman. Summary The doorman is responsible for maintaining a safe, controlled, and welcoming environment for guests and staff. This role requires someone who can stay calm under pressure, handle difficult situations professionally, and enforce house rules without escalating conflict. Responsibilities Check IDs and verify guests are 21+ Monitor the front door and control entry when needed Enforce bar policies and house rules Help prevent overcrowding or unsafe behavior Watch for signs of intoxication and communicate concerns to bartenders or management Bus tables and clean spills as needed Help ensure guests leave safely at closing time Cleaning at closing time. Requirements Must be dependable and punctual Must be available nights from 9 PM to 1 AM and holidays (as needed) Prior bar, nightclub, or door experience preferred Strong communication and conflict-resolution skills Ability to stay calm and professional difficult guests Good judgment and situational awareness. Must be able to work late nights in a fast-paced bar environment Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is firm but respectful, confident without being aggressive, and understands that the goal is to keep the bar safe while maintaining a good customer experience.
