Responsibilities Prepare restaurant tables with special attention to sanitation and order Attend to customers upon entrance Present menus and be knowledgeable of menu contents, recipes, and restaurant offerings Serve and assist customers with selecting food/beverages as needed Have basic knowledge of menu prices, composition of items, preparation techniques, and time of preparation. Must be familiar with daily specials and offers to guests Make suggestions based on guest preferences Keep tables clean and tidy at all times Adhere to all relevant health department rules/regulations and all customer service guidelines Dress in appropriate event staff uniform at all times, while also maintaining professional appearance Refill condiments and server station supplies at end of each shift. May require performing other shift closing tasks to be determined by Director of Food & Beverage Act with the highest level of integrity in every decision

Requirements:

Prior Food Service experience is ideal, but willing to train the right person. We are dedicated to thoroughly training & developing our team into hotel leaders through interactive teamwork in a positive work environment! Knowledge of retail math for handling cash transactions A genuine passion for the culinary arts, food, and beverage, with a willingness to continuously learn and grow Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build genuine connections with guests and colleagues Ability to handle food safely and follow proper food handling procedures Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure, ensuring efficient service even during peak dining hour Excellent English communication skills and able to read, write and speak fluently In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form (Form I-9) upon hire .
