As a key leader in our hospitality environment, you will coordinate and oversee banquet events, ensuring smooth operations from setup to service. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will inspire your team to provide outstanding food service, maintain high standards of food safety and cleanliness, and create memorable occasions for our guests. This role offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your leadership skills within a vibrant, fast-paced setting dedicated to hospitality excellence. Responsibilities Lead and supervise banquet service staff, including servers, bussers, and setup crews, to ensure efficient event execution. Coordinate with culinary and event planning teams to understand menu requirements and special guest needs. Oversee the timely setup of banquet rooms, including table arrangements, linens, and necessary equipment. Ensure all food handling, serving, and food preparation adhere to safety standards such as proper food safety protocols and sanitation practices. Monitor service quality throughout events, addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally. Manage the use of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for accurate order processing and billing. Conduct pre-event briefings with staff to communicate event details, expectations, and safety procedures. Assist with bussing tables, resetting spaces quickly between events, and maintaining cleanliness in all banquet areas. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food items and proper presentation during events. Uphold hospitality standards by providing excellent guest services and fostering a positive team environment. Qualifications Proven experience in food service, restaurant operations, or banquet management with a strong understanding of hospitality standards. Prior banquet experience preferred, including knowledge of food handling, serving techniques, and event coordination. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable. Strong communication skills with the ability to lead a team effectively in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures. Experience working in hotel or culinary settings is a plus. Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
