The BridgeWay is currently seeking a Food Service Worker to join our team! The Food Service Worker performs a variety of duties related to the preparation and serving of food to patients, staff and visitors. Completes routine and special sanitation duties. As a representative of The BridgeWay, all comments, attitudes, actions, and behaviors have a direct effect on the Facility's image and perceptions of quality service. Interaction with patients, family members, physicians, referral sources, affiliating schools, visitors, etc. must be in a manner that is friendly, supportive, courteous, respectful, cooperative, and professional. Licenses or Certifications:

CPR and Handle with Care to be obtained within two (2) weeks of date of hire. Total education, vocational training and experience: High school diploma or equivalent. One year previous experience in a food service setting.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

1. Adaptability to perform a variety of duties and repetitive tasks. 2. Ability to read and follow direction. 3. Ability to add and subtract. 4. Ability to interact in a positive manner and communicate well with patients, families, co-workers, supervisor and other hospital employees. 5.
