Job Description

Job Overview This position is for two shifts only and will amount to approximately 12 hours per week. This position is ideal for someone seeking a role in which they work alone yet still able to maintain a friendly and professional demeanor with guests. Ideally, this position is for a friendly person not needing a lot of hours yet is dedicated to the vital role of breakfast attendant. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional guest service during breakfast hours, ensuring a clean, welcoming environment and high-quality food presentation. This role offers an opportunity to develop skills in food service, customer relations, and hospitality operations. The Breakfast Attendant is essential in creating a positive dining experience for our guests and maintaining the smooth operation of breakfast service. Duties Prepare and serve breakfast items according to established recipes and presentation standards, including food preparation and plating. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, buffet stations, and kitchen surfaces through regular cleaning and sanitation practices. Assist with food setup, replenishing buffet items, and ensuring all stations are stocked and organized throughout service hours. Greet guests warmly, manage guest inquiries with professionalism, and provide excellent customer service using effective communication skills. Buss tables, clear dishes, and assist with guest seating as needed to ensure a seamless dining experience. Follow food safety guidelines to ensure proper handling, storage, and sanitation of all food items. Experience Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate. Skills in food preparation, food safety, and handling preferred but not required. ServSafe Certified a plus! Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor are essential for guest interactions. Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads (up to 25 pounds), and work efficiently during busy breakfast hours is required.
