The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a background in the food service industry, particularly in catering and restaurant management. As a Banquet Captain, you will play a crucial role in coordinating the front-of-house operations during events, leading your team to deliver outstanding service. Duties Lead and supervise banquet staff during events to ensure high standards of service. Coordinate with kitchen management to ensure timely food production and presentation. Set up banquet rooms according to event specifications, including table arrangements and décor. Train and develop staff on service techniques, menu knowledge, and food safety protocols. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and preferences for events. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout the event, addressing any issues promptly. Assist in the planning and execution of special events, ensuring all details are managed efficiently. Maintain cleanliness and organization of banquet areas before, during, and after events. Requirements Proven experience in food service or culinary roles, with a focus on catering or restaurant management. Strong knowledge of kitchen operations and food production processes. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate staff effectively. Exceptional communication skills for interacting with clients and team members. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed for events. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple tasks simultaneously. A passion for providing outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment.
