Banquet Attendant Pay Details:
The starting hourly rate for this position is $26.00 per hour. A Banquet Attendant is a key member of the Food and Beverage Team with a strong service background and the ability to anticipate needs and manage multiple tasks. Banquet Attendants must be able to read a BEO (Banquet Event Order) and identify the necessary equipment to successfully execute events. Responsibilities may include setting up, executing, and breaking down coffee services, buffets, snack drops, and more. They may also serve as Food Runners, Bussers, Tray Passers, or In-Room Attendants. Banquet Attendants are expected to maintain professionalism at all times and prioritize guest satisfaction by delivering memorable experiences each shift. Strong time management and communication skills are essential. The ideal candidate is flexible, dependable, and brings a positive, upbeat attitude to every event. Responsibilities Assist with setting up event spaces, including, linens, table settings and buffet or beverage stations Stock service areas appropriately with supplies such as utensils, napkins, cups, and condiments Support the execution of food service by serving pre-plated meals, beverages, and passed appetizers as directed Replenish buffet stations regularly to ensure presentation and freshness Transport food and supplies from kitchen to event areas in a safe and timely manner Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned areas throughout the event Assist with table
Service and Floor Maintenance For Example:
Clear tables, remove used dishes, and manage trash during and after service Assist with basic food prep tasks such as garnishing trays or organizing service items Support/complete event breakdown and cleanup Ensure compliance with food safety, responsible beverage service, and company standards at all times Provide hospitable and professional customer service to all guests Work cooperatively with a team and follow directions from supervisors and Management Skill Must be at least 18 years of age Previous hospitality or food service experience required Valid Food Handler's Certification, or ability to obtain upon hire Responsible Beverage Server Certification preferred; must be willing to obtain if not already certified upon hire Strong customer service mindset and willingness to learn Good time management and awareness of event flow Must be reliable, punctual, and have a professional appearance and grooming Effective verbal communication and interpersonal skills Fast-paced, team-oriented, and guest-facing role Able to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team Able to adapt to varying weather and temperatures, indoors and outdoors Able to stand and walk for long periods and navigate stairs if needed Able to work a flexible schedule, including availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays Able to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 30 lbs. Knowledge, Skills and Experience Education - High School Diploma or Equivalent Experience Required - 0-1 Years This position is on-site.
