JOB OVERVIEW
We are seeking a hardworking and customer service oriented Barbecue Food Truck Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist with food preparation, cooking, customer service, and maintaining cleanliness while helping provide an outstanding food truck experience. This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle food safely and contribute to daily operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITES 1.
Prepare and cook BBQ meats, sides, and other menu items according to the recipes and quality standards. 2. Set up and stock food truck supplies before service 3. Take customer orders and process payments accurately 4. Serve food quickly while maintaining presentation standards 5. Monitor food temperatures and follow food safely regulations 6. Clean and sanitize cooking equipment, utensils, and work areas 7. Assist with loading, unloading, and organizing inventory 8. Restock ingredients and supplies as needed during service 9. Provide friendly and professional customer service 10. Support team members during busy periods and special events
QUALIFICATIONS
Previous food service, restaurant, catering, or food truck experience preferred Knowledge of food safely and sanitation practices Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds Strong Communication and teamwork skills Ability to work evenings, weekends, and outdoor events as needed Food Handler's Permit or willingness to obtain one (if required by local regulations) SKILLS Food preparation and cooking Customer Service Cash handling and POS systems Time management Teamwork and reliability Attention to detail Ability to work under pressure
