Friday Summary:

The Food and Beverage Attendant supports interim housing sites across Los Angeles County. The Food and Beverage Attendant plays a critical role in ensuring meals are efficiently packed, delivered, and tracked between our Commercial Kitchen and various sites. In this role, the Food and Beverage Attendant will assist with grocery shopping, light inventory management, and maintaining accurate records of deliveries and returns.

Primary Roles and Responsibilities:

Food Transportation and Delivery:

Pick up prepared food from the Commercial Kitchen and deliver it to designated interim housing sites. Ensure all food is securely packed and delivered on time. Return empty trays and containers to the kitchen after food service is complete.

Food Packing and Documentation:

Accurately pack food items based on site-specific needs. Complete food count documentation for each delivery to ensure proper accountability.

Inventory Management:

Perform light inventory tasks, including tracking and documenting supplies received from sites and distributed to sites. Maintain detailed records of food and supply deliveries and pickups.

Grocery Shopping:

Assist with purchasing groceries or other supplies as needed to support kitchen and site operations. Kitchen Maintenance Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, including workstations, storage areas, and equipment. Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment. Ensure all food items are stored properly and at the correct temperature. Qualifications A valid California driver's license with a clean driving record. Proven ability to handle food and supplies carefully and follow food safety guidelines. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Physical capability to lift and carry food trays and supplies (up to 30 lbs). Ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff, site managers, and team members. Reliable, punctual, and committed to providing excellent service. Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, as needed.

Preferred:

Minimum of 2 years of driving experience.

License/Certification:
