Busser - Sushi Restaurant

Overview At Hakane Sushi, we pride ourselves on providing fresh, high-quality Japanese cuisine in a warm and welcoming environment. We're looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Restaurant Busser to join our team. As a Busser, you'll play an essential role in keeping our dining room running smoothly by supporting servers, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring every guest has an exceptional dining experience. Key Responsibilities Clear and reset tables: Promptly remove used plates, glassware, utensils, and napkins, and reset tables neatly for the next guests.

Support servers:

Assist wait staff by running food, refilling drinks, and delivering extra items requested by guests.

Maintain cleanliness:

Keep the dining room, floors, chairs, and service stations tidy and organized throughout the shift.

Assist with dishes:

Help transport dishware to the kitchen and support dishwashing as needed.

Restock supplies:

Refill condiments, utensils, napkins, and other essentials to keep service running smoothly.

Guest assistance:

Be attentive to guest needs, providing extra napkins, silverware, or answering basic questions when possible.

Work with the host:

Coordinate with the host/hostess to ensure tables are turned quickly and efficiently.

General upkeep:

Lend a hand in keeping bathrooms, entryways, and other common areas clean and presentable. Qualifications Positive attitude and team-player mindset Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication and guest service skills Previous restaurant experience is a plus, but not required Must be available to work 4 dinner shifts a week (4pm-9pm).
