We are looking for a great team player with a positive attitude.
Position Overview:
The Busser plays a key role in supporting the front-of-house team to ensure an exceptional dining experience for every guest. This position is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of the dining room, assisting servers with table service, and helping to create a seamless, refined atmosphere in line with the restaurant's high standards of hospitality.
Responsibilities:
Prepare tables for service by setting linens, glassware, silverware, and other dining essentials. Clear and reset tables promptly and efficiently between courses and after guest departures. Refill water glasses, replenish bread or other table items, and assist servers in maintaining guest satisfaction. Support servers and food runners by delivering food and beverage items as needed. Maintain cleanliness and organization of service stations, polishing areas, and storage spaces. Polish glassware, silverware, and china to ensure flawless presentation. Assist with stocking and restocking service supplies throughout the shift. Uphold fine dining service standards, etiquette, and pace at all times. Communicate effectively with team members and managers to ensure smooth service flow. Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
Qualifications:
Prior experience in an upscale or fine dining environment preferred (at least 1 year). Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of service. Team-oriented with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to stay calm and efficient in a fast-paced environment. Professional appearance and demeanor. Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs. Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Holiday availability is a must.
