Food Service Partner - Urban Corp Scripps Health United States, California, San Diego May 19, 2026 Description This position is for Urban Corp students only. Must have completed the required 10-day Food and Nutrition Services in person training program. We have both full-time and part-time opportunities available. Must be available to work a varied shift (start time will be dependent upon the department's need) and varied schedule including weekends. Positions will be based out of all 5 Scripps hospital sites. The Food Service Partner performs job functions to support the following Food Service operational systems: safe food handling, meal assembly and portion control, customer service, and infection control/sanitation. Food Service Partners also follow established policies and procedures to ensure compliance with Food and Safety regulatory requirements. Demonstrates age-specific care as established for area and job title.

Qualifications Required Qualifications:

SD County Food Handler Card; or Food Safety Certificate, or able to pass Food Handlers test given by certified manager or designee Must be able to speak, read, and write English Compeled 10-day in person Food and Nutrition Services training

Preferred Qualifications:

6 months experience in Food Service Food Service experience in a Healthcare setting
