Busser

The Bussers' primary goal is to support the Server in serving guests in a warm, accommodating, and professional manner, ensuring total guest satisfaction.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Include the following: Other duties may be assigned. Fulfill guest's needs politely and courteously. Setup and reset tables for service with napkins, candles, tableware and other items. Maintain, clean, and restock dining room service stations. Polish silverware, glassware, and small ware for the dining room. Provide water, bread and coffee service, and refill service. Deliver food orders from the kitchen to customers' tables rapidly and accurately. Remove dirty dishes and utensils at appropriate times during service and deliver to dish washing area. Inform the restaurant server or manager about customers' feedback or requests (e.g. when they ask for the check). Clean tables between guest seatings. Complete side work and closing duties. Maintain health and safety regulations at all times. Perform all other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

Excellent interpersonal skills and focus on serving customers. Written and verbal comprehension of English language. Basic mathematics computations. Strong sense of urgency. Work Experience and/or Education Must Have High School Education or equivalent. Physical Requirements Ability to deliver orders quickly and accurately. Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.

8 - 29 hours per week

weekday, weekend, day, night, holiday (must have holiday availability) The rate listed is the rate Hotel San Luis Obispo reasonably expects to pay for this position.
