Role:
The Breakfast Attendant plays a vital role in ensuring guests have a positive and enjoyable start to their day by providing exceptional service during the breakfast hours. This position is responsible for setting up, maintaining, and replenishing the breakfast area to meet high standards of cleanliness and presentation. The Breakfast Attendant interacts directly with guests, addressing their needs promptly and courteously to enhance their overall experience. Attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment are essential to ensure smooth operations during peak breakfast times. Ultimately, this role contributes significantly to guest satisfaction and the reputation of the hospitality establishment.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in a customer service or food service role is preferred but not required. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting and carrying food trays or supplies. Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene practices. Strong communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in a hotel or hospitality environment. Food handler certification or similar food safety training. Multilingual abilities to assist a diverse guest population. Familiarity with point-of-sale systems or breakfast service equipment. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team-oriented setting.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and arrange breakfast items, including hot and cold foods, beverages, and condiments, ensuring freshness and quality. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the breakfast area, including tables, counters, and serving stations throughout the service period.
