Busser / Dish washer - $18/hr + Tips Abbott Square Market - Downtown Santa Cruz 725 Front Street, Santa Cruz Abbott Square Market is looking for a part-time Busser (a.k.a. Director of Ambiance) & dishwasher to help us keep the good vibes rolling. This isn't your average busser role. We're a buzzing public market filled with live music, incredible food, and a whole lot of heart. This position plays a key role in maintaining the energy, cleanliness, and overall guest experience of our space. What You'll Do Clear and reset tables efficiently and thoroughly Maintain cleanliness in indoor and outdoor guest areas Monitor house music, lighting, heating, and overall guest comfort Handle janitorial duties (trash, restrooms, floors, general upkeep) Assist guests with directions and basic information Help uphold our safety, hospitality, and community-focused atmosphere Dishwashing on weekend evenings. Available to train as busser and dishwasher. Strong organizational skills for sorting multiple restaurants dish wears and keeping a clean workspace. What We're Looking For Must be available evenings and weekends Dependable, proactive, and personable Comfortable working independently and with a team Fast learner who takes pride in maintaining a polished space Able to stand and walk for extended periods Comes to work with integrity to do a good job. Able to lift up to 45 lbs Perks $18/hour + monthly tips Flexible scheduling (approximately 18-32 hours per week) Work in the heart of downtown Santa Cruz Be part of a dynamic, live-music-filled, community-focused space About Abbott Square Market Abbott Square Market is a food hall, bar, and live entertainment hub in downtown Santa Cruz.
