Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process transactions accurately and swiftly. Handle cash, credit card payments, and perform cash handling duties with precision. Assist customers with menu selections, upselling items to enhance their experience and increase sales. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of food prep areas, dining spaces, and equipment in compliance with food safety regulations. Support food industry operations by bussing tables, restocking supplies, and ensuring quick service during busy hours. Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service delivery in a quick service or fast-food restaurant environment. Requirements Previous experience in food service, cashiering, or retail environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is essential! Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food handling safety standards. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively with diverse customers. Basic math skills for cash handling, sales transactions, and inventory management. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail. Experience in kitchen operations or café environments is advantageous; familiarity with grocery store or retail math is beneficial.
