This is a critical role responsible for cleaning and sanitizing food processing equipment to meet strict food safety and quality standards. This is NOT janitorial or office cleaning. Industrial food manufacturing sanitation requires cleaning and sanitizing production machinery by disassembling equipment, washing components with pressure hoses and specialized sanitation chemicals, then reassembling the machinery for production. Candidates with only office cleaning, housekeeping, or commercial janitorial experience are not qualified for this position. If you've worked in a food manufacturing or food processing facility performing sanitation on production equipment, we'd like to speak with you. What You'll Do Disassemble food processing machinery for deep cleaning Clean and sanitize industrial production equipment using pressure hoses, foaming systems, and approved sanitation chemicals Reassemble machinery correctly and safely after cleaning Follow GMP, HACCP, FDA, USDA, and company food safety procedures Clean production rooms, conveyors, fillers, mixers, and other manufacturing equipment Complete sanitation logs and required documentation Prepare production lines for the next manufacturing shift Maintain a clean, safe, and inspection-ready facility

Required Qualifications Required:

Previous food manufacturing or food processing sanitation experience Experience cleaning and sanitizing industrial production equipment Ability to safely disassemble and reassemble machinery Knowledge of GMPs, HACCP, and food safety standards Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Comfortable working in wet, cold, and fast-paced manufacturing environments Reliable attendance and willingness to work overtime and weekends when needed

Preferred:

Bilingual English/Spanish Experience limited to office cleaning, commercial janitorial services, housekeeping, hotels, schools, or building maintenance does not meet the qualifications for this role.
