Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Busser to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Busser plays a crucial role in ensuring that our dining area is clean, organized, and welcoming for guests. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about the food industry and enjoy providing exceptional service in a hospitality setting. This position includes tips in addition to hourly pay. Duties Maintain cleanliness of tables, chairs, and dining areas by promptly clearing dishes and utensils after guests have finished their meals. Assisting servers and providing support during busy service periods. Ensure that all table settings are properly arranged and ready for incoming guests. Help with the setup and breakdown of dining areas for special events or busy shifts. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food items and maintain communication regarding any special requests or dietary needs from guests. Follow all food handling and safety guidelines to ensure a clean and safe environment for both staff and customers. Requirements Previous experience in the food service or restaurant industry is preferred but not required. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to cleanliness and organization. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team. A passion for hospitality and helping others create memorable dining experiences. Must be able to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting bus tubs and glass racks, or moving furniture as needed.
