Duties Prepare and serve a variety of breakfast items with precision and care, ensuring high-quality presentation and taste Maintain cleanliness of all food preparation areas, dining spaces, and kitchen equipment according to food safety sanitizing procedures Assist with food handling, storage, and inventory management to minimize waste and ensure freshness Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including toasters, coffee machines, blenders, and other small appliances Process cash transactions accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems while providing friendly in-person customer service Follow food safety management protocols diligently to uphold health standards and prevent contamination Support catering or special event setups as needed, including serving guests and managing dietary accommodations Skills Proven experience in food preparation within a hospitality or restaurant setting, preferably with fine dining experience Strong knowledge of food safety sanitizing procedures, food handling practices, and cleanliness standards Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently; manual handling skills are essential for lifting and moving supplies Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory counting; familiarity with POS systems is advantageous Knowledge of wine service, bartending, or barista experience adds value to the role Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor; capable of engaging with guests professionally in person Experience in catering or dietary aide roles demonstrates versatility in food industry environments This energetic position invites motivated individuals passionate about hospitality to bring their culinary talents and positive energy.
