Food Service Summer Temporary schedule
SALARY RANGE
District Classified Salary Schedule- $20.00 per hour Mon-Friday 7:30am-1:30pm Must be 16 years or older July first through August 7th.

Job Summary:
Assists with the preparation, distribution, and delivery of summer meals for students and community members. Supports the food service program by maintaining cleanliness, following food safety procedures, and providing excellent customer service. Performs related duties as assigned.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Help prepare and organize meals for summer lunch service
Pass out meals to students and community members in a friendly and professional manner
Maintain cleanliness of serving areas, tables, and food service spaces
Follow proper food safety and sanitation procedures
Assist with setting up and cleaning up meal service locations
Help unload food deliveries and organize supplies
Restock food, beverages, utensils, and serving items as needed
Keep accurate meal count records and assist with basic documentation
Work cooperatively with food service staff and supervisors
Assist with transporting meals and supplies between locations (if eligible)
Respond to immediate clean-up and safety needs
Provide positive customer service to students, families, and staff
Perform other related duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE POSITION
Ability to successfully and cooperatively fulfill assigned responsibilities
Maintain good attendance
Work as a positive team member
Ability to accept a variety of assignments, in various settings and with several individuals
WORK ENVIRONMENT
The usual and customary methods of performing the job's functions require the following physical demands: occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling; frequent climbing and balancing; frequent stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling; and some fine finger dexterity. Generally, the job requires minimal sitting, 40% walking, and 60% standing. The job is performed under some temperature extremes and a generally hazard free environment.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
Position is per Weld County School District Re-8 calendar
To be determined by the Director of Support Services or designee; (6:00 am - 4:30 pm) during the summer.
Position may include weekend work.
All agreements for employment of personnel shall be subject to the approval of the Board of Education.
No smoking is allowed in any Weld County School District Re-8 buildings.
Selected applicant(s) must comply with the District's Drug-Free Workplace policy.
