  • Position Purpose:
  • Saint Francis Hospital a member of Trinity Health, Mid-Atlantic, is looking for a Food Service Aide to join our Food & Nutrition team!
  • What You Will Do:
  • + The main focus of our Food Service Aides is providing personalized meal service to hospital patients.
+ Assisting patients with meal selection, serving meals to patients, clearing soiled and used trays from patients. + Stocking nursing unit pantries with supplies, taking meal carts to and from the patient floors, breaking down meal carts and various other side work duties assigned by management during shifts. + Serving cafeteria customers in a friendly and courteous manner. + Stocking various areas in the cafeteria and general sanitation. + Assisting other cafeteria and patient service staff as needed. + Responsible for the record keeping of safe food temperatures and refrigeration temperatures. + Works with management to ensure smooth operation and Quality Control.
  • Minimum Qualifications:
  • + HS diploma or equivalency (preferred) + Healthcare experience (preferred) + Customer service oriented.
+ Effectively communicates with customers, clients, and management. + Able to work with minimal supervision and alone. + Ability to interact with kitchen and supervisory staff.
