POSITION PROFILE
This position includes preparing, setting up, and maintaining the breakfast area, which involves replenishing food and beverages, cleaning the dining and buffet areas, and ensuring food safety standards are followed
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILTIES
Prepare and set up the breakfast buffet, arranging food and beverages. Replenish food, coffee, juice, and other supplies as needed. Perform basic food preparation, such as cutting fruit. Greet guests warmly and provide assistance with requests and questions. Maintain a positive and friendly attitude towards guests. Ensure the dining area, tables, and buffet stations are clean, organized, and sanitary. Clear tables, clean up spills, and remove trash. Wash serving equipment and return reusable supplies to storage. Follow all food safety guidelines and sanitation standards. Comply with health regulations. Maintain any required food handler certifications.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
High school education or equivalent experience. Three - Six months experience in a food/beverage services environment or establishment. Strong customer service and interpersonal skills. Attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask. Must have manual coordination to punch buttons, grasp items in hand, and to balance and carry trays loaded with food and beverages. Able to read, speak and understand English.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Able to lift, push, carry 20 - 40 lbs. Stand continuously for long periods of time. #INDcape
