About us Fuego & Salt is a small business in Melbourne, FL. We are professional, agile, fun and our goal is to make event truly unforgettable with our Event Catering services. Whether it's a corporate gathering, wedding reception, or any other celebration, our experienced team will ensure that every bite is bursting with flavor and elegance. From custom menus to flawless execution, trust us to deliver an exceptional culinary experience for you and your guests.. As a catering event staff
  • you'll be working as a team and with the client's guest to ensure a fun, safe, and amazing event expereince.
No two events are the same and your ability to be dynamic and ready for anything is apprecaited. Some of the Responsibilties & Skills are below. Event specific instuctions, details, and expecationsa are always shared ahead of time.
Responsibilities:
  • Assist in executing all aspects of catering events, including setup, service, and cleanup
  • Ensure exceptional guest relations by providing friendly and professional service
  • Work with Chef to present food in a visually appealing and appetizing manner as needed
  • Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Assist with banquet setup (tables, chairs, linens) & dining room setup (buffets, silverware, plates, water servcie). Additional setup based on event needs.
  • Provide bussing services during events to maintain cleanliness and organization
  • Work collaboratively with Chef to ensure high-quality food production
  • If applicable: Licensed and professional bartending skills for those who qualify.
Skills:
  • Strong guest relations skills with a focus on providing exceptional customer service
  • Experience in banquet or event catering, including setup and teardown
  • Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in the food industry
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients, guests, and team members
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required in the catering industry
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities
