We are seeking a friendly and dependable Cafeteria & Food Service Attendant to join our school nutrition team at one of Miami Beach's premier Jewish private schools. You'll help ensure that students receive healthy meals in a clean, welcoming, and organized environment while supporting the kitchen team throughout the day. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children and wants a rewarding weekday schedule. Responsibilities Set up serving stations and prepare for meal service Portion and serve meals according to school guidelines Assist with classroom meal delivery when needed Help monitor food allergies and special meals Maintain cleanliness of serving and dining areas Restock food, beverages, and supplies Support kitchen staff with light food preparation Assist with cleanup following meal service Provide a warm, friendly, and professional experience for students and staff Qualifications Food service or cafeteria experience preferred Friendly, patient, and dependable Comfortable interacting with young children Excellent teamwork and communication skills Strong attention to cleanliness and organization Physical Requirements Lift up to 40 pounds Stand and walk throughout the day Employment Requirements Must pass a Level 2 background check Must be authorized to work in the United States Must be comfortable working in a Jewish private school environment Reliable, punctual, and professional Monday through Friday. Enjoy a predictable schedule while helping create healthy, positive mealtime experiences for children every day.
Pay:
$18.00 - $22.00 per hour
