Duties Greet customers warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and flair Handle food preparation tasks such as baking, assembling sandwiches, or packaging baked goods according to safety standards Operate POS systems like Aloha POS and Micros POS efficiently for order processing and cash handling Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food displays, counters, and seating areas Manage cash register transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math calculations for change Follow food safety protocols diligently to ensure proper food handling, storage, and sanitation standards Skills Proven experience as a barista or in coffee preparation with strong knowledge of coffee industry standards Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for smooth sales transactions Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests Strong time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently without compromising quality or service Basic math skills for cashiering, retail math calculations, and cash handling accuracy Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures in a café or retail environment Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail This role is perfect for energetic individuals passionate about delivering top-notch food service in a lively café setting.
