$16.80 per hour minimum
Essential Job Functions:
Performs responsible work in staffing and assisting in the operation of a food and beverage service area. Maintains a City recreation facility and assists in implementing and organizing all aspects of recreational activities. Performs routine work in cashiering and operating and maintaining a concession area. Washes, cleans, and polishes all equipment in concession area; maintains cleanliness of surrounding areas; sweeps and mops floors, empties trash cans, etc. Unpacks supplies from boxes and cartons, stocks inventory, and replenishes supplies in concession area. Operates cash register; accurately completes cash transactions. Maintains accurate fiscal records and reports. Maintains cleanliness of bathrooms and common areas surrounding fields. Independently and/or as a team oversees various rentals and assists with light janitorial work and rental operations. May open, close, and generally secure recreational facilities and other various City facilities. This is not intended to be an all-inclusive listing of essential job functions; the performance of other essential functions may be required.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Knowledge of the hospitality industry. Ability to relate well and establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers and the general public; understand and carry out verbal and written instructions; and operate a cash register and make accurate cash transactions. Must be physically able to perform the essential job functions.
