Job Description

Position Summary:
Assist in preparation, service and cleaning required for the patient tray line and the cafeteria food service. Must be willing to work 12 hours shifts 6a.m. - 6p.m. with every other weekend is a must! ( Three full time 12 hours days and one 1/2 day). Same day interview / hire!
Position Requirements :
Must realize the importance of prompt and accurate meal service to the patients. Must realize the importance of proper food preparation according to given recipes, be concerned for cleanliness, observe routine work schedules and follow the System and departmental operating procedures. Must be able to carry through to completion assigned and planned tasks. Must exercise initiative and also have the ability to exercise sound judgment performing daily and assigned work. Must have the ability to prioritize and correct problems, as needed.
Education:
High School Graduate or Equivalent. One or more years of experience is required in Food Industry. Healthcare industry is a PLUS! ServSafe Certified a plus! Healthcare /Hospitality industry exp. preferred.
