Full Job Description Food Service Worker About River Edge Behavioral Health:
Serving more than 10,000 Georgians, River Edge continues to be one of the state's leading resources for mental health, substance use disorder treatments and supports as well as individuals with intellectual and development disabilities. The full continuum of River Edge Behavioral Health services provides state-of-the-art treatment and support services for more than 13,000 children, youth, families and adults annually, who experience mental illness, addiction, co-occurring disorders or developmental disabilities. River Edge is currently looking for a Food Service Worker to prepare meals for clients at our large commercial kitchen. The ideal candidate will have a consistent work history in a large food service kitchen and the ability to work well with a team preparing and serving over 500 meals a day. Under general supervision of the Food Service Manager this position plans, prepares, cooks, and serves meals to students, clients, and staff in a cafeteria setting. Will perform other job-related duties as assigned.Location:

Monday-Friday 5:30am-1:30pm. Monday - Friday 7:30am-3:00pm. Both with 1 weekend per month Sat/Sun and all Holidays. Full-time position with benefits.Qualifications:
Demonstrate excellent customer service with a positive demeanor when dealing with clients. Adhere to food safety standards at all times, making sure that all food is free or contaminants and pathogens that might make clients sick. Clean pots, pans, and any other dishes in the kitchen as needed, adhering to safety and sanitation standards at all times.Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma. Reasonable computer skills (time clock, email). Kitchen/Food service experience optional but helpful. Agrees without reservation to work schedule and maintain good attendance and punctuality.Similar jobs in Macon, GA
