The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food industry, with experience in restaurant settings, hotels, or catering services. This role involves preparing and serving food for various events while ensuring exceptional guest relations and adherence to food safety standards. The Caterer will play a crucial role in creating memorable dining experiences for our clients and their guests. Responsibilities Prepare and present high-quality food items according to event specifications and menu requirements. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and best practices in food handling. Set up and break down catering stations, including buffets and dining areas. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, addressing their needs, and ensuring satisfaction throughout the event. Collaborate with event planners to understand client preferences and dietary restrictions. Assist in managing inventory, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels. Support bussing duties during events to ensure cleanliness and organization of dining areas. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to health and safety guidelines. Requirements Previous experience in the restaurant or food industry is preferred; catering experience is a plus. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations. Excellent guest relations skills with a focus on customer service. Ability to work well under pressure in fast-paced environments. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed for events. A passion for food preparation and presentation, along with creativity in menu planning.
