General Food Service Worker at Ekstrand Central DeWitt Community SD DeWitt, IA Job Details Full-time 5 days ago Qualifications Serving Food handling Floor cleaning Dishwashing Meal preparation Food preparation Entry level Full Job Description General Food Service Worker 3.5 hours Position at Ekstrand Elementary. Hours would be 10:45 a.m.- 2:15 p.m. No lunch required. Duties include but are not limited to: Washing dishes/pans Serving food Making salads Setting up the food line Some cooking, and helping where needed in the kitchen. Sweeping and mopping the floors Must be able to lift 40 pounds with no problems and must be able to work at a fast pace on your feet. Must have the basic concept of working with food and have some food safety knowledge. This individual would be the backup person for various other positions in the kitchen including cashier and head cook. Must be flexible with your hours. All other assignments designated by the Manager and Nutrition Services Director.
