Breakfast Attendant

The Breakfast Attendant is responsible for setting up, maintaining, and breaking down the breakfast service area while providing exceptional customer service to guests. This role ensures a clean, organized, and well-stocked environment and helps create a positive guest experience.

Compensation:

$16 hourly

Responsibilities:

Set up the breakfast area with food items, beverages, utensils, and supplies before service begins Prepare and replenish food and beverage items Monitor food quality, freshness, and presentation throughout service Maintain the cleanliness of the breakfast area, tables, counters, and equipment Wash dishes and restock supplies as needed Follow food safety, sanitation, and health regulations Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner Respond promptly to guest requests and resolve concerns Break down and clean the breakfast area after service Report inventory shortages and equipment issues to the supervisor Fill in as breakfast cook if needed

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred Previous food service or hospitality experience preferred Knowledge of basic food safety and sanitation practices Ability to work early morning shifts, weekends, and holidays Strong customer service and communication skills Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25-40 lbs Skills & Competencies Friendly and approachable demeanor Attention to detail Time management skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Dependable and punctual Work Environment Fast-paced hospitality environment Requires standing, bending, lifting, and moving throughout the shift Early morning hours typically required About Company The Best Western Plus Dubuque Hotel and Conference Center is a great place to work because we care about our guests and staff.
