Role:

The Golden Dome Café Worker provides general support to the café and performs a variety of responsibilities, including setting up for service, assisting guests during service, and operating the cashier as needed. This role also helps with basic food preparation, stocking, and cleaning duties to ensure smooth restaurant operations. Additional responsibilities include maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for guests and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up and prepare the café for daily service. Assist guests during service and provide friendly customer support. Operate the cash register and handle transactions as needed. Assist with basic food preparation, including vegetable prep and portioning. Stock serving lines, beverage stations, utensils, and other café supplies. Maintain clean and organized kitchen, dining, and service areas. Support dishwashing, bussing, and general cleaning duties as needed. Assist servers and cooks during busy service periods to ensure smooth operations. Help maintain a welcoming, efficient, and team-oriented restaurant environment.

Qualifications:

Food service experience is helpful but not required; training will be provided. Reliable, flexible, and able to multitask. Strong teamwork and communication skills. Friendly, team-oriented, and enjoys working with the public. Must be able to lift 25 lbs. or close to it
