Led by internationally acclaimed Chef Athinagoras Kostakos, NAIA features vibrant mezze, fresh seafood, wood-grilled specialties, and an expansive beverage program in a stunning indoor-outdoor waterfront setting. NAIA is seeking Bussers who can deliver exceptional guest experiences in our fast-paced, high-volume, full-service restaurant environment. These roles require strong attention to detail, urgency, and teamwork to ensure food is delivered accurately, efficiently, and with proper presentation. Responsibilities & Duties Clear and reset tables quickly and accurately according to company standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining room, service stations, and guest areas. Refill water glasses and assist with beverage service as needed. Monitor dining room cleanliness, including floors, chairs, and high-touch surfaces. Maintain stocked and organized service stations (napkins, flatware, glassware, condiments). Transport dirty dishes, glassware, and utensils safely and efficiently to designated dish areas. Dispose of trash and recycling promptly and maintain clean trash receptacles. Assist servers and support staff in maintaining smooth dining room operations during service. Communicate effectively with servers, hosts, kitchen staff, and management to support service flow. Complete opening, running, and closing side work as assigned. Follow all company policies, sanitation guidelines, and food safety standards. Contribute positively to team morale and support fellow team members during high-volume periods. Maintain a professional appearance and uphold company hospitality standards. Additional duties as needed within the scope of the role. Minimum Qualifications Previous restaurant experience required; high-volume experience strongly preferred. Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs. Basic knowledge of food handling, safety standards, and allergens.
Physical Demands & Work Environment:
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8+ hours per shift). Ability to frequently lift and carry up to 40 pounds (large trays, multiple plates). Continuous movement in a fast-paced environment. Frequent bending, reaching, and maneuvering through tight spaces. Must be able to move safely through kitchen and dining area, including slick floors and tight spaces.
