The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service and customer satisfaction, with the ability to work effectively in a team. This role involves food preparation, serving customers, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety. Duties Prepare and serve food items according to established recipes and standards. Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems, including Aloha POS and Micros POS, for efficient order processing. Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently while adhering to cash handling policies. Assist in bussing tables and maintaining a tidy dining area for guests. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and service. Follow proper food handling techniques to ensure quality and safety. Requirements Previous experience in the food industry or quick service/fast food restaurant is preferred. Culinary experience is a plus, along with knowledge of food safety practices. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members. Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math applications. Familiarity with POS systems is advantageous; experience with Aloha or Micros is a plus. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Must be able to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks related to food service operations.
