Food Service Worker/Cashier

Job Overview We are seeking a friendly and efficient Food Service Worker/Cashier to join our team in providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced food environment. Duties Prepare and serve food items according to established recipes and safety standards Handle cash transactions, process sales, and perform upselling to enhance customer experience Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, including food prep stations, dining areas, and equipment Assist with food handling, serving, bussing tables, and ensuring proper food safety procedures are followed Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving issues professionally Support the team with basic kitchen tasks such as stocking supplies and cleaning as needed Requirements Previous experience in food service, quick service restaurants, or retail environments is preferred Knowledge of food preparation, handling, sanitation, and safety standards in the food industry Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on hospitality and communication Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, sales transactions, and retail math calculations Good time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours Experience with food safety protocols and sanitation procedures
