JOB SUMMARY

To assist in providing a superior gaming experience, unattainable by our competitor, where guests can indulge themselves without apology. To enhance the guest experience by preparing quality food product adherent to presentation standards. To consistently provide legendary guest service. Efficiently process guests' orders to provide an experience that exceeds their expectations. This position performs functions of work outside the gaming space, with some performing all or a bulk of their work back of house.

HOW YOU WILL CREATE THE EXTRAORDINARY

Maintain a professional appearance at all times, clean and well groomed as per standard. Know and adhere to all pertinent company rules, processes and procedures. Follow proper procedures in food safety and sanitation. Greet all guests in a welcoming and friendly manner. Ensure that the area is clean and neat. Store and maintain all equipment and supplies in proper fashion. Answer all guest questions, or refer to immediate supervisor if necessary. Exhibit a good attitude towards guest and fellow employees. Operate a POS system and follow proper cash handling procedures. Follow food recipes and preparation instructions to ensure food products are prepared with high standards of freshness and appearance. Follow preparation instructions and procedures to ensure consistency and quality in all specialty coffee products. Expedite orders quickly and efficiently to ensure accuracy and minimal guest wait time. Perform any other duties as requested by the supervisor to satisfy the needs of the customer and the Horseshoe Casino. Must be able to work various shifts and hours to include holidays and weekends. ROP $15/HR

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

Must be 21 years of age or older Proficient in English verbal and written Equivalent to a high school education with basic knowledge of food preparation techniques, and cash handling experience. Flexible to work various shifts, weekends, and holidays Must qualify for, obtain, and maintain a gaming license from the Indiana Gaming Commission, if applicable. Access to the vessel is required.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull objects up to 50 pounds Ability to bend, stoop, twist, crouch, and reach repetitively Ability to work in a fast paced environment. Must be able to work in cold/hot environments. Must be able to work from a standing position and/or walking motion for extended periods. Ability to work in a crowded, smoking, and loud environment
