Job Overview:
- We are seeking a dedicated Breakfast Attendant to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our restaurant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring exceptional customer service and contributing to the success of our breakfast operations.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve breakfast items with a focus on quality, presentation, and timeliness.
- Manage cash handling, operate a point-of-sale (POS) system, and accurately process transactions.
- Maintain a clean and organized dining area, adhering to food safety and health standards.
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing guest inquiries and ensuring a positive dining experience.
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure efficient delivery of food and beverages.
- Handle dietary requests and special instructions with care, utilizing knowledge of common dietary restrictions and allergies.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures, including setup, inventory management, and cleaning tasks.
- Utilize technology such as OpenTable to manage reservations and guest services.
- Maintain a high level of energy and enthusiasm, providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere for guests.
Experience:
- Prior experience in a restaurant or food service environment, preferably in a breakfast setting.
- Experience with food handling, preparation, and presentation.
- Knowledge of basic food safety practices and health regulations.
- Familiarity with POS systems, including Aloha POS.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to interact with guests in a professional and friendly manner.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Physical stamina to lift and carry food items, as well as stand for extended periods.
Skills:
- Food handling and preparation experience
- Proficiency in operating a POS system, including Aloha POS
- Experience in a restaurant or food service environment
- Strong customer service skills
- Knowledge of common dietary restrictions and allergies
- Experience with meat cutting and delivery driver roles
- Familiarity with OpenTable and guest services
- Experience as a dietary aide or in a similar role
- Certification in food handling and preparation is a plus.
