We are looking for a reliable and energetic Banquet Server / Breakfast Attendant to join our team. This dual-role position is perfect for someone who enjoys early mornings, guest interaction, and being part of a collaborative team environment.
Position Summary:
The Banquet Server / Breakfast Attendant plays a key role in delivering an outstanding food and beverage experience for our guests. From preparing and maintaining our daily breakfast buffet to setting up and servicing banquets and group events, this position requires attention to detail, a team-focused mindset, and a commitment to excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Breakfast Duties Prepare and set up the breakfast area, including brewing coffee, setting up serving stations, and ensuring all food and beverage items are stocked and fresh. Greet guests warmly and assist with special requests or dietary needs. Monitor buffet items and restock as needed throughout the breakfast period. Clear tables, sanitize surfaces, and maintain cleanliness in the dining area throughout and after service. Ensure all food safety standards and hotel cleanliness protocols are followed. Banquet Duties Assist with event setup including tables, chairs, linens, buffet lines, and A/V equipment as needed. Provide attentive service during events such as corporate meetings, weddings, reunions, and other group functions. Serve plated meals or maintain buffet presentation in accordance with event details. Buss tables, reset spaces, and assist with post-event breakdown and cleanup. Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor in front of guests at all times.
Bonus:
Bartending experience is a plus for some banquet events, but not required.
Requirements:
Prior experience in food service, banquets, or hospitality preferred but not required—willing to train the right person. Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable attitude. Ability to work early morning shifts (starting as early as 5:00 AM) and flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays. Comfortable on your feet for extended periods and capable of lifting up to 30 lbs. Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards.
