Breakfast Attendant

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated, prompt and enthusiastic Breakfast Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional guest services during the breakfast hours. This position involves preparing and serving breakfast items, ensuring cleanliness and organization of the dining/lobby area, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests. You will be the only one working breakfast the days you are scheduled. Duties Prepare and set up breakfast items, including hot and cold food options, beverages, and condiments. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the breakfast area, including tables, counters, coffee and serving stations. Assist guests with their breakfast needs, ensuring a pleasant dining experience. Buss tables promptly to ensure a tidy environment for incoming guests. Monitor food inventory levels and report any shortages or needs for replenishment. Follow all food handling and safety regulations to maintain high standards of hygiene. Clean and restock entire kitchen/breakfast area after and during breakfast hours. Take out trash, vacuum, mop after breakfast hours. Paid training. Be on time each day to ensure breakfast is ready at 6:30am, maintain having food until 9:30am. Looking to fill a permanent 2 to 3 days a week, set schedule. For breakfast attendant, 5:30am in time (breakfast starts at 6:30am) - whenever all task for the day are done, (cleaning/restocking). Out time can range from 11:30am to 2pm at latest. Employee discount at all IHG hotels worldwide with IHG employee profile Reliable transportation is a must. Experience Previous experience in food handling or preparation is preferred. Experience in hospitality or guest services is preferred. Knowledge of hotel operations is a plus. Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor are essential.
