Food Services Asst

The Food Services Assistant assists with meal preparation, meal service, and sanitation and adheres to all safe food handling.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Prepares and portions foods for cafeteria, catered and patient food services. Works patient service tray line to provide meals to patients. Works in cafeteria to provide food to employees, guests and visitors. Performs vending duties. Provides service to catered events as scheduled. Adheres to accepted Food Service Sanitation and Safety procedures. Performs duties relevant to ware washing.

Education:

High School education or equivalent preferred.

Experience:

Two years of restaurant, institutional or school food service experience preferred. Hospital or nursing home food service experience preferred.
