Job Description
Job Summary Join our team as a Breakfast Attendant and be the welcoming face that kickstarts each day with energy and excellence! In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a delicious, high-quality breakfast experience for our guests, ensuring every detail meets our standards of hospitality and food safety. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create a warm, inviting atmosphere that keeps guests coming back for more. Responsibilities Provide high quality of service in all interactions with guests according to brand standards. Prepare breakfast foods as determined by hotel brand. Ensure acceptable quality of all food and beverages served. Set up breakfast area and maintains a clean environment throughout established breakfast hours. Communicate with guests as needed regarding breakfast food and beverage options. Maintain appropriate inventory of all breakfast supplies, both during breakfast hours and in general for future use. Ensure breakfast items are prepared appropriately with regard to quality in taste appearance, serving temperatures, portion sizes, and appearance. Clean tables as they are vacated. Maintain clean, neat, and well-organized work and buffet areas, which includes but is not limited to carts, ovens, sinks, refrigerator/freezer, service areas, walls, floors, sneeze guards, and counters. Adhere to all health, sanitation, and cleanliness standards that meet state and local Health Board inspections, brand standards, and hotel requirements. Ensure cleanliness of all serving ware prior to use. Welcome/greet guests and resolve guest concerns quickly and professionally. Check the working condition of equipment in accordance with specifications. Report all unsafe or malfunctioning equipment, safety hazards, or any other maintenance and repair needs to supervisors. Put all food item away when orders arrive including removing items from cartons and dating appropriate items, etc. Other duties as assigned. Requirements Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor Knowledge of serving techniques and food preparation standards in the food industry Experience in food handling, safety protocols, and maintaining hygiene standards in restaurant settings Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Hospitality background or dietary aide experience is preferred, but not required Frequently lift up to 30 pounds.
