Breakfast Attendant

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Breakfast Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests during breakfast hours, ensuring a welcoming and clean environment. This role involves food preparation, maintaining the breakfast area, and assisting guests with their needs to create a memorable dining experience. Responsibilities Prepare and set up the breakfast area, including food items and beverages. Ensure cleanliness and organization of the breakfast station throughout service. Assist guests with their breakfast selections, providing recommendations as needed. Maintain food safety standards by adhering to proper handling and storage procedures. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including coffee machines and toasters. Clean tables, utensils, and serving areas promptly after use. Monitor inventory levels of food items and supplies, restocking as necessary. Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and concerns effectively. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and presentation. Skills Kitchen experience with a focus on food preparation and cooking techniques. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing. Experience in food service roles, including restaurant or hotel settings. Strong communication skills for effective guest interactions and teamwork. Knowledge of food safety practices and dietary guidelines. Ability to handle cash transactions accurately with cash handling experience. Guest relations skills to enhance the customer experience during breakfast service. Experience in cleaning, bussing tables, and maintaining a tidy environment. Culinary skills including knife skills, meat cutting, and meal preparation are advantageous. Previous banquet or catering experience is a plus, along with barista experience for coffee service.
