Responsibilities Greet guests warmly, manage reservations using OpenTable, and assist with seating arrangements to optimize flow during busy hours. Take food and beverage orders accurately using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems, ensuring proper entry and timely processing. Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities. Serve food and beverages efficiently, buss tables, and assist with food handling and sanitation standards to uphold safety regulations. Support the culinary team with basic food preparation, replenishing supplies, and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen area. Manage cash handling duties including cashiering, processing payments, and balancing registers at the end of shifts. Provide excellent guest services by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and fostering positive guest relations in a fine dining or nightclub environment. Skills Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order entry and transaction processing. Strong customer service skills with experience in food service, serving, or host/hostess roles within restaurant or nightlife settings. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures. Excellent time management skills to juggle multiple tables or tasks efficiently during high-volume periods. Ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor. Previous experience in fine dining or nightclub environments is preferred for understanding guest expectations. Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and inventory management.
