Bus & Dish Person

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic person to join our team in a vibrant restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring a smooth dining experience for our guests by maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout the restaurant. The bus person/dishwasher position assists the waitstaff and kitchen team, contributing to the overall efficiency of our food service operations. Duties Clear and clean tables promptly after guests finish their meals to prepare for new customers. Assist in setting up dining areas for banquets and special events, ensuring all necessary items are in place. Support food service staff by refilling drinks, delivering bread or condiments, and assisting with food preparation as needed. Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas, including sweeping, mopping, and organizing supplies. Help with catering events by preparing food stations and assisting with service as required. Follow all food handling and safety guidelines to ensure a clean and safe environment for both staff and guests. Qualifications Previous experience in a food service or restaurant environment is preferred but not required. Knowledge of food handling practices is a plus. Strong ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude. Ability to lift and carry items as needed, ensuring efficient service during busy periods. A willingness to help out in various kitchen tasks, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
