Banquet Setup Part-Time & Flexible St. Paul College Club - 1.0 Saint Paul, MN Job Details Part-time From $20 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Some college Heavy lifting Outdoor work Valet parking Full Job Description We are looking for a dependable part-time setup person to help with weddings and events at our historic mansion on Summit Avenue in St. Paul. This is a great position for college students. Several members of our setup team attend St. Thomas and St. Catherine University, both located nearby. Schedule Most shifts are Friday through Monday. Start times are usually between 5:00 and 10:00 a.m. On rare occasions, a late-night or midnight setup may be needed.
Responsibilities include:
Setting up indoor and outdoor tables and chairs Arranging ceremony chairs, trellises, and arbors Placing linens Adjusting chandeliers and café lighting Following written instructions and floor plans for each event Keeping banquet, garden, and storage areas neat and organized Light cleanup, including leaf blowing, vacuuming, and removing debris Each wedding is different, but you will be provided with clear written instructions and floor plans for every setup. This position involves a lot of walking and occasional heavy lifting. Applicants should be comfortable lifting up to 50 pounds. You will work with a friendly and experienced setup team where everyone helps keep the venue organized and ready for each event. We are also looking for a valet for Tuesday daytime events beginning in mid-September. Please mention it if you are interested in both positions.
