Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking dedicated and motivated Service Assistant / Salad Bar Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate would be comfortable in a fast paced environment working in close proximity to other people. Moderate customer service and background in food preparation and safety are preferred. As a Service Assistant / Salad Bar Attendant, you will perform a variety of tasks that facilitate our reputation for exceptional service. Responsibilities include guests interactions, food handling, stocking, cleaning and miscellaneous related tasks. Responsibilities Assist servers by bussing trays promptly, clearing dishes, and stacking for dishwasher Maintain cleanliness of salad bar areas, including sweeping, stocking the bar, wiping down countertops, and sanitizing surfaces Support food handling and delivery to ensure timely service while adhering to safety standards Help with basic kitchen tasks such as restocking supplies and organizing service stations Provide friendly assistance to guests, answering questions about the salad bar items Skills Experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key Strong cleaning and bussing skills to maintain a tidy work space efficiently Knowledge of food handling procedures and safety standards in the food industry Excellent communication skills to interact positively with guests and team members Ability to work quickly in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Demonstrated teamwork skills with a proactive approach to supporting colleagues and enhancing guest experiences Working in close proximity to team members.
