Poplarville , Mississippi (US-MS) The Role at a glance: We are looking to add an enthusiastic event worker to our team. As an event worker, you will have the opportunity to provide incredible food service to a diverse clientele across a variety of banquets and catered events. What you'll be doing: Preparing the banquet room or area for the event, serving customers, and cleaning up after the event. Delivering and/or serving food and beverages to customers. Greeting customers promptly and in a friendly manner, explaining menu items, taking orders, and offering follow-up items to improve the event. Ensuring courteous, prompt service for all event functions according to established guidelines. Greeting customers, explaining menu items, taking and delivering orders, and continuing with follow-up items. Ensuring that service follows health code regulations. Basic customer service interactions. Any other tasks as necessary. What we're looking for:

Must-haves:

The ability to work as part of a team devoted to providing outstanding customer service. Excellent attention to detail and service knowledge. Excellent communication and organization skills. Prior food service experience in a catering or restaurant setting.

Nice-to-haves:

Food Handler's certification. At least one year of food service experience in a catering or restaurant setting. Compensation Range $14 an hour
