At Parks Hospitality Group , we are seeking an experienced and professional Banquet Captain to join our Food & Beverage team. In this key role, you will ensure an exceptional experience for clients and guests during events by delivering top-tier service, coordinating between departments, and overseeing banquet staff to ensure seamless event execution.
What You'll Do:
Set up and break down banquet rooms, including tables, chairs, linens, and decorations, following event specifications. Greet guests upon arrival, assist with seating arrangements, and address any needs or concerns. Serve food and beverages in accordance with service standards and alcohol regulations. Monitor guest satisfaction and promptly respond to requests or concerns. Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely and efficient service. Set up, monitor, and refresh event stations such as buffets or coffee breaks as needed. Maintain cleanliness and organization of banquet areas and equipment throughout events. Adhere to safety and sanitation guidelines.
What You'll Need:
A high school diploma or equivalent. At least 2 years of related experience in event coordination or banquet service. Excellent guest service and interpersonal skills. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively. Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects. ServSafe certification is a plus. Must be at least 21 years of age to serve alcohol.
